Today I’m sharing a card with beautiful flowers in soft colours….or at least softer colours than the bright ones I usually go for..I was very conscious of my colour choices for this one and kept the stencilled background quite light as well….
I created the background using Altenew grid stencil and cotton candy dye ink on a white front panel which I adhered to a plain white card base…I tried to only sponge the ink on the sides of the panel and leave the centre area as clean as possible since I wanted to add a frame to the card front…
I die cut the frame from gold glitter cardstock using two rounded rectangle dies…I also die cut the same frame three more times from white cardstock and layered them under the gold frame for a bit of dimension…I also die cut the sentiment from the same glitter gold cardstock using inline alpha dies and adhered them inside the gold frame…
On a separate piece of white cardstock, I stamped all the flower and leaf images using various shades of Altenew crisp dye inks and then added them to the gold frame…finally I added some pink jewels to embellish my card…
