Strawberries Birthday Card

I have used Hero Arts Color Layering Strawberries stamp set for today’s card and absolutely loved the end result of this layering stamp…quite simple too since the strawberries are 2 layers and the leaves are 2 layers as well…

Once I had stamped the main image about six times and die cut them using the coordinating die, I adhered them randomly onto a front panel I cut to size from Hero Arts Paradise cardstock…I also inked the edges of this panel for a bit of depth in the background…

I stamped and white heat embossed the sentiment on black cardstock and added a pink mat layer before adhering it to the card front…to embellish my card, I added a whole lot of light pink gemstones..

Vintage Cars Birthday Card

I have made this quick birthday card using Honey Bee Stamps Car Show stamp set…I selected a few Altenew inks and stamped all the images in different colours randomly on the front panel of my card…

On a separate piece of cardstock, I stamped the large sentiment using the Waffle Flower Happy Birthday stamp set and coloured it in and die cut it using the coordinating die…I added this sentiment to the card front and applied some Nuvo Glaze on it for some dimension and shine…and to embellish the card I added a few gold confetti sequins…

Altenew Fairytale Florals Cards

I really liked this simple and large floral stamp set by Altenew called Fairytale Florals and decided to use the large image to create a handful of cards and tried out various ways to colour them in…

For my first card, I stamped the image using a light ink and then used the coordinating stencil and crisp dye inks to colour in the flowers…I stamped image again with black ink to make the outlines clean and visible…I die cut and adhered the images to a 3d embossed panel using the Floating Foliage embossing folder…I added the sentiment and dome embellishments and my first card was ready…

My second card also has a 3D embossed background…I used the Garden Harmony embossing folder with kraft cardstock for the front panel…I then stamped the image and heat embossed them using copper embossing powder…to colour in the images, I used Altenew Artist Markers and simply flicked the tip to colour in the centers of the images and left the rest of the space white/blank..I used the Sentiment Strips stamp set to stamp and heat emboss the sentiments for this card..

For my third card I have used Altenew Watercolor Brush Markers to colour in the black heat embossed image….I simply sponged in some pink ink to create the background panel and added the sentiments as well…I adhered the main image on one side of the card rather than in the center like all the other cards I have made with this set..

Now for my next card, I heat embossed the image with copper embossing powder again and used watercolor brush markers to colour in the image…I splattered a bit of paint on the image as well…then using the Rows Of Squares 3d embossing folder, I created the front panel of my card….I also sponged the edges of this panel before adhering it to the card base…

My last card also has a 3D embossed background…I used a light blue cardstock for the front panel and the Flowers And Leaves embossing folder…I stamped the main image with back ink and the various layers using shades of peach and green crisp inks…the sentiment is from Balloon Bunch stamp set which has been stamped and layered using the Apothecary Labels die set…

Dino Birthday Cards

I think that the best part about the Mama Elephant Little Dino Agenda stamp and die set has been that I was able to make 4 cards very quickly once the stamping, colouring and die cutting in was done…

I created the background panel using Distress Inks and cloud edge stencil and then adhered a bottom panel with the trees background…this panel was made using Mama Elephant Scene Builder set and coloured in with watercolours and markers…

I then stamped, heat embossed and die cut all the sentiment strips using the Mama Elephant Easy Sentiment stamp and die set and added all the little dinosaurs to the card fronts..

I added some rhinestones to embellish all the cards and used the Nuvo aqua shimmer pen to add some shine to the die cut images..

I really like how cute all these cards turned out to be…these little dinosaurs are adorable don’t you think??

Daisy Wreath Birthday Cards

Layering stencil sets are my absolute favorites these days and there is a whole lot from various brands to choose from as well…I used the Pinkfresh Studio Daisy Wreath Stencils for these two cards and the best part is that they have a coordinating die as well…

Once the stenciled images were die cut, I die cut a couple more from white cardstock to layer the main image…I stamped the sentiment from Pinkfresh Studio A Day In The City Stamp set and adhered it to the wreath…

I used coloured cardstock and WRMK embossing folders Quilted and Geometric to create a bit of texture on the front panel of the cards before adhering the die cut wreath to the card front..

And finally to embellish the cards I added a few jewels from the Pinkfresh Studio Essentials Jewels Mix and my cards were ready..

Easter Cards

Easter is just around the corner, and I have these four Easter cards to share with you…I first sketched a rough card layout template and then created the cards based on that template…I usually go with the flow while making cards but when I’m stuck for ideas, I try making a rough template and see if I can come up with ideas..

The focal element and sentiments on all the cards have been stamped using the Oh Bunny stamp set by Simon Says Stamp…In the first two card I have used coloured cardstock for the front panel and die cut an oval pattern using Simon Says Stamp Shimmer Oval Wafer Die..

The next two cards also use coloured cardstock for the front panel but for one card I have used the Altenew Dotted Lines Debossing Cover Die and for the other one I have die cut a circle using the Altenew Window Sphere Die….

Hugs And Good Luck Cards

I enjoyed watercolouring all the stamped and die cut elements for both these cards and loved the end results too…I have used the Luck And Hugs stamp set by Simon Says Stamp and gold heat embossed the large sentiments and the floral images….then using Altenew watercolour bursh pens, I coloured them all and set aside to dry..

For the background panels, I have used Simon Says Stamp Cosmos Bloom Background and You Matter Background stamps and then adhered them to the card base…

I die cut the coloured in sentiments and images adhered them on the card front…I also added small secondary sentiments heat embossed in gold as well….I have used rhinestone jewels to embellish my cards and applied Nuvo aqua shimmer pen on the images for a bit of shine..

Froggy Birthday Cards

The various frog images in the Hero Arts Happy Day stamp set were so much fun that I ended up making 4 birthday cards using this set…

These first two cards are quite similar and I have used the same layout for both of them…I have die cut the Hero Arts Leaves And Vines Fancy Die from Neenah solar yellow cardstock and adhered it to one of the card base.. for the other card I have used the Lawn Fawn Stitched Woodgrain Backdrop die with teal front panel and also applied some blueprint sketch Distress Ink on the edges….after stamping, colouring in and die cutting the images, I adhered them to both the card fronts and added the sentiment label to them both..

The Anniversary card I made is quite simple too…I stamped the front panel using an old Hero Arts background red rubber stamp with carved pumpkin Oxide ink and then added the gold embossed sentiment (Avery Elle – Loads Of Happy) as well as the two frog images and a few hearts…

The last card I made was a bit of fun…I first used the layering stamp and die set Mountains By The Lake by Hero Arts to create a peaceful scene and even added a die cut sun at the top corner…I placed the yoga frog image in the center of the card….I then stamped the sentiment and added a navy blue die cut rectangle frame to neaten my card..

Birthday Gnomes

Today I’m sharing a quick but cute card I made using Mama Elephant stamps and dies…I bought the Little Gnomes Agenda stamp and die set to make Chirstmas cards last year but realised there were a few of the gnome images I could use for other occasion cards as well…

I applied some tumbles glass Distress ink on the edges of the front panel and adhered it to the card base…I then die cut the Mama Elephant Big Happy Birthday sentiment once from holographic cardstock and twice from white cardstock and glued them together before adding to the card front..

I stamped, die cut and coloured in three of the gnome images and adhered them to the card as well..I also applied some Nuvo Glaze on these for a bit of shine…I then stamped another sentiment from the Mama Elephant Easy Sentiment stamp set and adhered it just below the large die cut sentiment..

The card looked shiny enough so I did not add any more embellishments to it…I hope you liked the card..thank you so much for stopping by my blog today..
