I used a dotted rectangle die to emboss on this panel and then adhered it to a plain white card base…

I didn’t want to adhere these die cuts straight onto the card front,so I added them to a plain white panel first…I had already splattered some picked raspberry Distress Ink as well as some Nuvo gold mousse on this panel before attaching it to the card base…I then adhered all the leaves and flowers to it…I quite like the fact that even after adding so many layers of die cut images,my card wasn’t heavy or thick..
I stamped the sentiment using autumn blaze crisp dye ink and then layered it with a panel on which I had stamped a solid stamp using pinkalicious crisp dye ink…I have used adhesive foam squares to adhere the sentiment onto the card front for a bit of dimension…and finally used some pink sequins to embellish my card…
Learning new techniques has always been the most exciting part of card making for me…and this technique is definitely going to be revisited many times…
Thanks so much for stopping by to take a look at my card today…Happy crafting…!!

I started by stamping the flowers and the leaves on watercolour cardstock…I did quite a bit of masking as well to make all the flowers and leaves look like they were a part of a bunch…I then added only a little bit of colour from the marker and used a water brush to pull out the colour and fill up the flowers and leaves…
Once dry,I die cut the top layer from this panel and adhered it to the a plain white card base..
Using Altenew sapphire ink pad ,I stamped the sentiment on a small strip and cut it out and adhered it to the card front using some adhesive foam underneath…
To embellish my card I have simply added a few sparkling clear sequins and used my sparkle pen to add a bit of glitter to the flowers and leaves…

Erum is a fantastic artist whose card is the inspiration for this month’s Altenew Inspiration Challenge…I took a lot of inspiration from both her cards to create mine..I did a whole lot of heat embossing on Vellum and wasn’t sure if I would be able to put it all together…but I did…and here is my card..
On a separate piece of white cardstock,I stamped the layering Dahlia and leaf images using Altenew ink cubes – ruby red, forest glades, frosty pink and jet black…I cut them out and adhered them onto the card, using some craft foam under one of the flowers …I also added a bit of gold string under the flowers…
I heat embossed the sentiment using gold embossing powder and adhered it to the card using some black craft foam underneath…and finally to embellish my card,I have used small sequins in various colours
In Australia,Father’s Day is celebrated in September while Mother’s Day is celebrated in May…so it’s a bit too early for me to create a Father’s Day card..but I’m sure all cardmakers will agree that it’s never too early to make cards for any occasion…
Both my cards are very similar and I made them both at the same time…I started with cutting the card bases to size from coloured cardstock…I then cut bright yellow and green plain cardstock for the front panel which I have embossed using the WRMK next level embossing folders…I cut these panels 1cm. short from one side only and adhered them to the card front…
I then die cut the words ‘mummy’ and ‘daddy’ from printed DSP using the lowercase dies…I die cut the same words again from craft foam and adhered the foam behind the alphabets before placing them onto the cards..
I have had a ton of fun making these cards…Hope you liked these too…
Thank you for your visit today…I’m glad you stopped by my blog…Hope you will have a wonderful day ahead…!!
