Congratulations Card

One of my top favorite card maker/ blogger is Virginia Lu…..I love her card making style and all her creations so much…and for today’s card I have been highly inspired by Virginia…

I started by creating the front panel on watercolour cardstock….I applied some Distress Inks on the stamps and used a mister spray to spray some water mixed with a bit of perfect pearls and then stamped onto the paper….this gives such a wonderful watercolour look with a wonderful pearly shine as well…once dry, I adhered this panel to a plain white card base…

I then die cut some fine rectangle frames from black glitter cardstock and adhered then on the front center of my card…then, on a separate piece of cardstock, I stamped the sentiment and decided to split it into two labels…I inked the edges and adhered these label using some craft foam…
To embellish my card I have used some sparkling clear sequins and applied some Nuvo glaze on the sentiment labels..

New Home Congrats Card

So this is what I do when I get an idea for a card using a particular stamp set but I can’t get enough time to get started on that card immediately…I scribble the idea onto a small sticky note or a piece of paper and slip it inside the stamp packaging so that the next time I pull that stamp set out, I already have at least one idea for using it…

This is a simple card made with masking and repeat stamping images to create the background…keeping just one image from the Jane’s Doodles home sweet home stamp set as the main focus, I stamped and coloured it first and masked it and then started stamping all the images around it…

I added a patterned black and white paper strip at the base of the front panel and adhered it to the card base..I die cut the word ‘congrats’ from red glitter cardstock as well as twice from black cardstock and layered them before adhering it to the card front…I also adhered three die cut hearts on the printed panel and my card was ready..

Black & Gold Anniversary Card

Today I’m sharing an anniversary card that I had been wanting to try for quite sometime…the idea had been formed in my head (and my ideas notepad) long ago and I have finally tried it out…

The card base and top layer of this card is made from black cardstock and I have painted stripes on the top layer using a wide paintbrush and metallic gold paint…I then stamped the sentiment on this panel using Versamark ink and gold embossing powder…
On a separate piece of black cardstock,I stamped three flowers from one of my favourite stamp sets – Tim Holtz Flower Garden and heat embossed them with gold embossing powder as well…I then adhered them to the card front, making sure to used some craft foam under the flower on top for a bit of dimension…I had already added some gold string behind the flowers before I adhered them onto the card…
I used my metallic marker to colour a few white pearls and used them to embellish the card…

Today is also my parents wedding anniversary and I made a similar card for them using the same idea..I will only share a little peek of the card I made for them just in case they haven’t received my card yet…I used the Altenew Garden Hydrangeas stamp set for this card…
Thank you for your visit today…I’m glad you stopped by my blog…Have a wonderful day ahead…!!

Scrapbook Boutique March 2017 Challenge

So it’s time again for the Scrapbook Boutique monthly challenge on their blog…did I tell you,I won their February challenge…??Well,I did and am still doing my happy dance…ha ha..Thank you so much Scrapbook Boutique 🙂

Their Design Team is fantastic and I felt quite inspired by all the creations shared by them….I am really enjoying these challenges and the moodboard for this month’s challenge is a colourful one and here’s my creation inspired by it…

I chose a black card base and a black top layer as well….using some scrap coloured cardstock,I cut them into 1″ strips and then cut diagonally to make the rays…after adhering these strips onto the top layer I ran it through my Cuttlebug using the pierced rectangle die..I think it’s the easiest way to neatly cut off the excess cardstock as well as giving the top layer a good finished look…

On a piece of white cardstock,I stamped, coloured in and cut out the image of the little Prince on a horse and placed it on a die cut silver circle…I have used craft foam under this circle before placing it on the card…I die cut a larger silver circle frame and placed it around the circle an cut off the part that didn’t fit on the top layer….

I stamped the sentiment on a silver banner and placed it on the card…and to embellish the card I punched a few hearts from red glitter cardstock and adhered them to the card…

Thank you for stopping by my blog today…Hope you will have a beautiful day ahead…!!

Hello Sunshine

Today I’m sharing a bright and cute card with lots of ‘pink’…I think it would be a good one to say hello and cheer someone up at the same time…
I chose a black card base and a white top layer…I used a couple of shades of pink distress inks and sponged them in to cover the top layer…then I stamped the background using a pink dye ink and few small stamps…I also stamped the sentiment at the top, leaving space for the little Polaroid section…
On a separate piece of cardstock stamped and coloured in the little girl in a bear onesie image and masked it to sponge in the background then cut it to size so it fits the back of the black Polaroid die cut…
Finally I adhered a few enamel dots to embellish the card…
Thank you for visiting today…Happy crafting…!!!

Happy Birthday Flowers

I just looove the layering flower stamps by Altenew….they just need a bit of practice at the start but once you get a hang of things, the results are excellent….and if your colouring in skills are still a bit in the ‘not quite right‘ category like me,then these stamps will make you look like a pro…. 🙂
I started with a black cardstock card base and a white top layer….on the top layer I have stamped the stripes using Versamark ink and then heat embossed them with gold embossing powder..I stamped the sentiment just above the top stripe…
On a separate piece of cardstock,I stamped the Altenew Painted Flowers, cut them out and placed them on the card…I have used just three gold sequins to embellish the card…

Happy Halloween!!

Wishing you a fun filled Halloween with lots of magical surprises…!!
May you get lots of treats that are yummy to eat…!!
Today I’m sharing my very first Halloween card…it’s quite simple since I did not have many supplies  for one but I guess I had to start somewhere…
The card base is plain black and instead of a single top layer I have used two orange mats….on the bottom section I have used a grey cardstock and stamped the tree and adhered googly eyes on them and created a couple of spiders with those as well…
On the top mat I have used a different shade of orange and stamped the sentiment on it…I have adhered two more of the googly eyes here…
Finally I stamped a few monsters from the Lawn Fawn monster mash stamp set onto a piece of vellum and cut them out before adding them to my card…
Thanks for stopping by today…..HAPPY HALLOWEEN…..!!

Wish You The Most Beautiful Day

My colouring might be getting a bit better due to so much practice but I am not at all good at drawing or painting….but that doesn’t stop me from using various colouring mediums in my cards other than inks and/or markers…I have used very basic and cheap watercolours that came in a set of small tubes for creating the background of the cards I’m sharing today….there was absolutely no need for skill or practice and the result was pretty good….
I also got to practice stamping with the Altenew Beautiful Day flower and leaves layering stamps…I think the more I will practice, the better results I will get from these…
Me And My Daily Papercraft Blog - Handmade Card by PriCreated

For both cards I have used a black card base and cut watercolour cardstock to size for the top layer…I then used the watercolour tubes and a flat paintbrush to paint lines on the top layer without picking anymore colour on the brush so that every line is a bit lighter than the one below it…

Then on a separate piece of white cardstock,I stamped the layering flowers and leaves and cut them out and placed them on the top layer….

I stamped the sentiment on a strip of black cardstock using Versamark ink and heat embossed it using white embossing powder….

To embellish the cards I have used Nuvo crystal drops…my friend Lois Wyche had tried out the Nuvo drops and the results were great…hopefully I can do a better job with these next time…

Die Cut Inlay Background Card

I think this die cut inlay background technique has got to be the easiest one yet….I have followed the tutorial by Jennifer McGuire to create the background for this card….Also,my younger daughter coloured in the flowers image using watercolour pencils and then some water and a fine paint brush and it turned out really nice so I asked her if I could use it on my card…so she cut it out and gave it to me….
Me And My Daily Papercraft Blog - Handmade Card by PriCreated

The card base is plain black and the top layer is made from glitter cardstock on which I have used a flourish die to create the inlay die cut effect…it is impossible to see in the picture but I have used craft foam under the top layer….
I then stamped, coloured in and cut out the little glass vase image and placed it on the card as well as the flowers…I stamped the sentiment on a small black banner using versamark ink and heat embossed it using white embossing powder…I have used copper colour sequins to embellish the card…
Here’s a close up of my card…I think my daughter did a great job with the colouring…
