Angel Birthday Cards

I have used MFT Little Angels stamp set to create these 4 birthday cards….even though this was a part of the last year’s holiday stamps release, the images are simply too beautiful to only be used for one occasion..!!

I have used Distress Inks and Oxide Inks to create all the background panels and then adhered those panels to a plain white card base…One of my cards also has a stenciled texture paste background and another one has a cloudy background…

On a separate piece of white cardstock, I stamped and coloured in all the angel images and die cut them using the coordinating dies…

I added the angel/angels to the card fronts using some foam squares….I added a die cut happy birthday sentiment on the first card and stamped sentiments for rest of the cards….

I have used tiny pink stars embellishments in just one card but I applied Nuvo glaze to the wings of all the angels for a bit of shine ….

Colourful Birthday Cards

The cards I’m sharing today were very quick to make using the new MFT stencil called Ray of Light with Distress/Distress Oxide inks…I have quite a few more ideas for this stencil which hopefully I will try out soon!
I used squeezed lemonade and mustard seed Oxide inks to lightly cover the background panel and then used the stencil with carved pumpkin and spiced marmalade shades….I stamped, coloured in and die cut the images from MFT Knight in shining armor stamp set and added a narrow grass border die cut from green glitter cardstock at the base of the panel ad then adhered the die cut images…I added the front panel to the card base and stamped the sentiment and added some Nuvo drops to embellish my card..

For my second card, I first lightly applied some tumbled glass Distress ink and then used the following inks with the Ray of Light stencil to create the rainbow effect – wilted violet, blueprint sketch, salty ocean, mowed lawn, mustard seed, spiced marmalade and candied apple…I stamped and coloured in the images from MFT Magical Unciorn stamp set, die cut them and applied a bit of glitter marker on them before adhering to the card front…I stamped the sentiment and adhered this panel to the card base…

I hope my colourful cards made you smile today…thank you so much for stopping by…have a happy and crafty day ahead…!!

Cheeky Meerkat Birthday Card

I have always loved all the stamps by Katzelkraft and especially the unique and funny expressions that the characters have…I wanted the stamped image of the meerkat  to be the main focus of my card so I used stencils and Oxide inks to create the background….

On the front panel I first used MFT Radiating Rays stencil and the following Oxide inks – squeezed lemonade, mustard seed, carved pumpkin and spiced marmalade and then used the MFT Grassy Edge stencil and lucky clover Oxide ink near the base to create an area where I would place the stamped image…

On a separate piece of cardstock,  stamped and coloured in the image using alcohol markers then cut cut it out and placed on my card front using some adhesive craft foam…the sentiment has been stamped on a small white banner and to embellish my card I have added a few clear confetti sequins..

Colourful and Cute Birthday Cards Using Clearly Besotted Stamps

The two cards I’m sharing today has images from Clearly Besotted Stamps as the main focus..also to create the background for my first card I have used one of the Distress Oxide ink blending combo that Kristina Werner shared recently on her blog…

My first card uses the Clearly Besotted Sending Sunshine stamp and dies which I have coloured in using Pinkfresh Studio liquid watercolours…on the background panel I applied spun sugar, picked raspberry and wilted violet Oxide inks…the sentiment is from the Avery Elle Simple Sentiments stamp set and I have used some silver jewels(Little things from Lucy’s Cards) to embellish my card..

My second card is inspired by a previous card I made which was a one layer card…here I have used die cuts and stencils to create a scene and add dimension…
The stamp and die set is called Bird Bath by Clearly Besotted and the garden fence die is by the same company…I have applied twisted citron and mowed lawn Oxide inks on the grassy border and used the MFT mini cloud stencil with salty ocean Oxide ink for the sky background…

Thanks for stopping by my blog…hope you will have a wonderful and happy day today…

Mama Elephant Santa’s Sleigh

Hello friends…today I’m sharing two similar cards but I made the backgrounds slightly different to see which one worked better with my layout..in the end, I decided I liked them both so went ahead and made one each..!!

I started by cutting kraft cardstock to size for the front panel and then used stencils and inks to create the hills background as well as the clouds background…I stamped the sentiments using Versamark ink and the heat embossed them using white embossing powder and adhered these panels to the card base…
On a piece of white cardstock, I stamped and coloured in the images and then die cut them using the coordinating dies…I adhered the die cuts using some adhesive foam squares for a bit of dimension…I used a black fineliner pen to draw the reins…and finally to embellish my cards, I have added a few while Nuvo drops…

Thank you so much for your time today..hope you liked my cards…have a happy and crafty day ahead..!!

Be Happy

Today’s card started with the colourful background that I created using the Perfect Vine stencil and some Distress Oxide inks….I wanted the background to stand out so decided to use die cut words from black glitter cardstock for the sentiment…

On a piece of white watercolour cardstock, I placed the stencil and sponged in some Distress Oxide inks….I have used the shades – picked raspberry, squeezed lemonade and spiced marmalade…I then removed the stencil and used a mini spritzer to spray some perfect pearls mixed with water….this gives the background a nice effect as well as a lot of shine…once dry, I die cut the front panel from it using a dotted rectangle die and adhered it to a plain white card base…

Next, I die cut the words ‘be’ and ‘happy’ from black glitter cardstock as well as from black craft foam and layered them before adhering to my card front…I also added two black heat embossed and die cut leaves from vellum paper which I simply coloured in using a green marker…and to embellish my card I have used a few black Nuvo drops…

Happy Birthday Gorgeous

Sharing another quick card today….I used Oxide inks to stamp the scribble flower images on the front panel of my card and I already have another idea forming in my head using this MFT circle scribble stamp set…I kept the colours to a minimum for this card and have left a bit of blank space so that the beautiful flowers and leaves remain in focus…

Me And My Daily Papercraft Blog - Handmade By Pri

I started by die cutting the front panel using a large cross stitch rectangle die and then stamped all the flowers and leaves using the following Oxide inks – worn lipstick, seedless preserves, twisted citron, lucky clover…I then adhered this panel on the front of a pink card base…

I stamped the sentiment using seedless preserves Oxide ink with label maker sentiment stamp set and cut them out before adhering them to my card using some adhesive foam for a bit of dimension…

To embellish my card I have added some pink jewels in various sizes..

Reveal Wheel Birthday Card

Lawn Fawn has done it again…this reveal wheel card was so easy to make with their reveal wheel dies and the coordinating sentiments and dies to go with them…everything comes together so easily and quickly and the end result is perfect…here are a few video tutorials that are helpful in understanding how to put the reveal wheel together –  Reveal Wheel 3 ways by Nichol Sphor, Reveal Wheel by Carissa Wiley and Reveal Wheel card Design by Jennifer McGuire

Me And My Daily Papercraft Blog - Handmade By Pri

Before putting together all the die cut elements for the reveal wheel, I applied some Distress Oxide inks to create the background…I have used cracked pistachio, peacock feathers and blueprint sketch shades here…I also stamped some tiny confetti all over this panel using unicorn white ink….

Once I finalised the layout of this panel, I stamped the sentiment using black ink and then assembled the reveal wheel section…I added a stamped, coloured in and die cut dinosaur on this panel as well…

On a plain white card base, I adhered a diagonally striped colourful printed front panel and then added the reveal wheel on top….I also stamped an arrow and ‘turn the wheel’ stamp to make it easy for the recipient to understand how the card works..
Here is a small video I made to show you how my card turned out…
Thank you so much for stopping by to take a look at my card today….Hope you will have lovely & blessed day ahead..
