Sending Blessings Card

Every now and then I go through all my stamps hoping for an idea to pop up or find a stamp I haven’t used in a long time…and today I pulled out these 3D doily stamps that I haven’t used recently….
The card base is plain green and for the top layer I have used watercolour paper….I have just used  one shade of green peerless watercolour to do a kind of a wash to create the background….once the top layer was dry,I stamped the sentiment at the top…
I decided not to stamp the doily stamps directly on the top layer….so I stamped them on a separate piece of cardstock using Versamark ink and then heat embossing them with black embossing powder…then I coloured them in with bright colours and cut them out and placed them on the card using adhesive  foam squares…
To decorate the card I have simply used green rhinestones in various sizes….
Hope you liked this card….

Today I’m sharing a simple and elegant anniversary card…..
My Stampin Up demonstrator sent me a few goodies last month….some beautiful cardstock, some printed DSP and some embellishments…and this plain green cardstock caught my eye….It’s such a pretty colour…I’m not familiar with SU paper colours but I think this one is called Pistachio Pudding(pls. correct me if I’m wrong)…
I have used gold cardstock as the base and the green as the mat…I wanted the green to show more so the top layer is quite smaller than the green one….
After rounding the corners of all the layers,I have stamped the top layer using Versamark Ink and a large Doily Stamp and then used a gold embossing powder to heat emboss it…I also stamped and gold embossed the ‘Happy Anniversary’ stamp on a banner punched out of the same green cardstock…
At the center of the doily stamp I have placed a large flower punched from gold cardstock with a rhinestone in the middle….
Hope you liked this card…

This is a very basic gift bag made out of Kraft cardstock……It can be used for presents, party favors or even as packaging to share some yummy homemade cookies, snacks etc…

After making the bag,I folded the top down and held that in place with a ribbon…I hate it when the handles of a gift bag come off…so closing it like this prevents that from happening…

At the front of the bag I stamped a doily stamp with red ink and placed another smaller stamped image with dimensionals…

Hope you liked it.
