From All Of Us

I really loved the layering stamp sets by Clearly Besotted I have used so far, so I got another one…this one is called Pure Poppies…very easy to layer and such great results as well…I also used a rectangle die to add a bit of texture and pattern to the background…

I started by die cutting the black cardstock for the background panel and adhered it to the card base….I then added a smaller stitched rectangle to the card front which has been die cut from gold glitter cardstock …

On a separate piece of white cardstock, I stamped the poppy and leaf images and die cut them using the coordinating dies…I have used the following shades of Altenew crisp inks for stamping the flowers- heartbeat, rouge &coral bliss and for the leaves I have used just green and parrot….

I adhered these pieces to the card and then white heat embossed the sentiment on a small black die cut label and used some adhesive foam to add a bit of dimension…and finally I added a few white Nuvo drops to embellish my card..

I Love You – Shaker Card

Sharing my first shaker card for this year…and this one didn’t take too long to make so I am pretty sure I will make quite a few shaker cards this year….I am still (and always will be) in awe of card makers who create the most amazing shaker cards with such ease and finesse..

I first created the background of the front panel of my card using Distress Oxide inks….I have used seedless preserves and picked raspberry shades here…I also splattered quite a bit of water for effect…then using the corbel heart die,I die cut beautiful heart pattern on the front panel…I added a piece of acetate behind this die cut section and started to create the shaker element…
I used foam tape to create the shaker well behind the front panel…I placed a lot of pink and red sequins inside this ‘well’ and added a panel of gold glitter cardstock as the background of my shaker…I used more foam tape to the back of my panel and adhered it to a plain white card base…

I die cut the word ‘you’ from white card stock and adhered it  on my card front….I then stamped the words ‘I love’ on a long white banner and adhered it to complete the sentiment…and finally to embellish my card I have used some small die cut hearts from gold glitter cardstock …

Party Time

Whats a party without party hats..??So I made little party hats for the owl and chick and decided to create a bright and sparkly background for today’s card…
The card base is light pink and I die cut watercolor paper to size and created the background using various distress inks…I then punched a few 1″ circles from gold glitter cardstock and stuck them onto the top layer….lastly, using the largest rectangular stitched die,I created the border and well as cut off the excess from the gold circles..
After stamping the sentiment directly onto the top layer,I placed the coloured in and cut out images of the owl and the chick…
Thanks a lot for visiting my blog today…Have a happy and crafty day…!!

Cutie & Cupcake Birthday Card

I had planned today’s card as a tag but I decided to make it into a card…..and the best thing about small cards is that they can also be used as gift tags as well…..
I have used Kraft cardstock for the card base and die cut it using the largest of the labels one die by Spellbinders making sure that I leave a small section uncut so that the card front is still attached to the back…
I then used the smaller two dies to create layers…..the middle layers is die cut from gold glitter cardstock and the top layer from Kraft cardstock which I have embossed using the seeing spots embossing folder….
On a separate piece of card stock I stamped, coloured in and cut out the cupcake and little boy image and placed them on the card…I then stamped the sentiment on a small gold banner and placed it on the cupcake….finally I added a few tiny colourful rhinestones to decorate the card…
Thanks for visiting…Have a great day ahead….Happy crafting..!!

Card Using Birthday Cake Digi by Cre8tive Hands

Today I’m sharing a card with yet another super cute image by Michelle Kierznowski.…I loved the little rabbit looking from behind the huge cake…I coloured in the digi with my Spectrum Noir markers and cut it out so I could place it on a black die cut polaroid frame….I have gold heat embossed the sentiment directly on the frame…
Now that the main element of the card was ready,I started assembling the card…the card base is plain light green and the top layer has been cut out from gold cardstock…I then placed a strip each of black and gold glitter cardstock on one side of the top layer…I placed a gold doily near the top and then adhered the polaroid frame above it at an angle….
I die cut a few sequins from the same green cardstock and embellished the card with them as well as gold adhesive pearls to finish the card…..

When it comes to using black cardstock for making cards,I have to really think hard to come up with a design which doesn’t use any stamping at all….coz for me,no matter how much effort I put in…as soon as I stamp on black cardstock,it never works…but I’m not going to stop using black….
On a plain black cardstock base I have used a black top layer as well and rounded only two ends of the card…I then used a stitched scalloped border die to die cut strips in various colours and adhered them to the card….I added a strip of gold glitter cardstock at the top….
The sentiment is a wood veneer word which has been glued to the card….and I have used a few black sequins as embellishments….
Hope you liked this card…

I had a lot of fun planning and making this card….while I was looking through my stamps for something for Valentines Day,I came across these stamps with symbols of + and = and this became the main focus of my card….
It’s a 5″ square white card base with a plain bright red mat….the top layer is white and I have used a hearts mask and light pink ink to create a background….I then stamped the words ‘you’ and ‘me’ with red dye ink…..and I have gold heat embossed for the + = and ‘forever’ word stamps…
At the base of the top layer,I have added a strip each of gold glitter cardstock and pink glitter cardstock…at the top i have only used a gold glitter strip…I also punched a red heart  and placed it above the word ‘forever’…..
Hope you liked this card…

Today I’m sharing a card that can be given for any special occasion….it can be for a birthday or an anniversary or any other happy event….
The card base is plain yellow….and the top layer has been created using four different distress inks and blending them slightly on a watercolour cardstock…
To decorate the four corners of the top layer I cut two squares out of gold glitter cardstock and cut them diagonally to create these triangular corners…In the middle I have a die cut frame from the same cardstock…the sentiment has been stamped on a yellow piece and die cut and adhered in the middle of the frame..
I used a gold metallic marker to colour in the tiny adhesive pearls that have used as the only embellishments on the card….the glitter cardstock makes it quite attractive and I did not want it to clash with other types of embellishments…
Hope you liked this card…
