Bright Flowers Card For Scrapbook Boutique March Challenge

I was very excited while creating this card….as I was blog hopping for the Scrapbook Boutique March Challenge and looking at all the DT’s creations, a good idea was forming in my head already…so when I started creating,I didn’t get distracted or double minded…all I had to do was make sure I did the stamping and stencilling right… 🙂

This is the moodboard for the March challenge and as you can see,I was quite inspired by the image of the cluster of flowers..

I started by creating the background on my die cut front panel….I first applied mustard seed and fossilized amber Distress Inks to the whole panel and then used my rays stencil with barn door and fired brick Distress Inks to print the pattern over the yellow background…I sprinkled some water for effect and once dry,I adhered this panel to a plain white card base..

Next,I stamped the flowers on a piece if white cardstock….and this time I used Distress Oxide inks to stamp them…I have used fired brick and squeezed lemonade shades here…I die cut these flowers using the coordinating dies and then arranged them on my card front…to adhere these flowers I have used glue and adhesive foam squares to create depth…
I stamped the sentiment on a long strip of white cardstock and adhered it to my card…and to embellish it I have simply added some clear confetti sequins to the flowers…

Father’s Day Funny Card

It’s Father’s Day in Australia tomorrow…hope you’ve got a card and socks all wrapped up for your dad by now..ha ha…my dad meditates and also has a great sense of humour, so this year I thought to make a kind of funny card for him…and I’m sure my daughters must have got their cards ready for my hubby as well…I don’t know if they made funny cards too..I don’t get to see them in advance anymore..!!

I started by creating the background on a white front panel…I used a stencil and Distress Inks for it…the ink shades I used are squeezed lemonade, wild hone and spiced marmalade…I then added an orange foil cardstock frame and adhered this panel to a bright yellow card base ..
On a separate piece of white cardstock,I stamped the meditating monkey image from Katzelkraft Jungle Animals stamp set and coloured it in before cutting it out and placing it onto the card front using some adhesive foam…

I die cut the word ‘Happy’ from green glitter cardstock and layered it with a die cut from white craft foam before adhering it to the card…I stamped the rest of the sentiment on a strip of white cardstock and used foam squares to adhere it to the card as well…
To embellish my card I have simple added a few orange marmalade Nuvo Jewel Drops…

Koala Hugs

A while ago,a crafter on Instagram – Felicia( smileyface003 ) – shared some gorgeous card panels that she created using Nuvo drops liquid…she shared a tutorial video as well and I’ve had this on my ‘to try’ list since that day…I think I used less of the liquid and spread it out much thinner than I should’ve but I still love the result…

I used the red berry Nuvo liquid and and a stencil and printed the pattern onto watercolour cardstock and set it aside to dry….it took a few good hours but the result was great…so I die cut it to size for my card and then placed this panel on a light grey textured card base…be sure to wash the stencil with warm soapy water immediately…

I stamped the Koala and baby on a separate piece of white cardstock and the coloured it in using watercolour pencils and Dove blending pen…I cut it out and adhered it to the card base using some craft foam….

I stamped the sentiment on a long thin strip of grey cardstock and adhered it to the card front..and finally to embellish my card I have used a few silver sequins…

The texture and shine from the Nuvo liquid is really awesome and I am so glad I tried it out…

Thank you for taking the time and visiting my blog today…Have a wonderful day ahead…!!

No Good Reason to Act Our Age

Most of my school time friends and I are fast approaching our milestone birthdays and we keep talking about it and make fun of how we will be counted as ‘old’ once we’ve reached that stage…so when I saw this Art Impressions stamp set,I couldn’t resist getting it…was laughing all the time I was making this card…!!

I started with a top folding Kraft cardstock card base and then cut a smaller front panel from black cardstock…on this front panel,I printed the spotty pattern using white pigment ink and a stencil..
I then die cut a panel from watercolour cardstock using mini scallop rectangle die and stamped the big top stamp set to create the rays…I used Fossilised Amber Distress Oxide ink to stamp it and then sprayed plenty of water so the a lighter colour spreads to the unstamped section of the watercolour panel…once dry,I stamped the sentiment in black ink and adhered this panel to the card front…
On a separate piece of white cardstock,I stamped  and coloured in the ‘cool lady’ on the skateboard…I cut the image out and used adhesive foam underneath before placing it on the card…and finally I used black Nuvo drops to embellish my card…
Do you like sending funny cards to your friends??I think this one would definitely get a good laugh from quite a few of mines…Thank you for stopping by my blog today…hope you will ave a fabulous day ahead…happy crafting..!!

Happy Mother’s Day!

Wishing all Moms,Aunties,Carers and Grandmas, all over the world  a very Happy Mother’s Day…Hope today brings you happiness, joy and lots of love from a loved child/children,nieces,nephews or grand kids…

The card I have made for today has a plain white card base,a yellow mat layer and a die cut white top layer…on the top layer I have used two different stencils and Distress inks to create the background… I have used spiced marmalade and carved pumpkin for the sun rays and squeezed lemonade for the halftone dots…
On a separate piece of cardstock,I stamped and coloured in the mama and baby dragon and cut them out..I also stamped a paper plane and cut it out…I placed the mama dragon on the card first and then placed the baby dragon on the paper plane and adhered them onto the card in a way that the baby is kissing their mother…
I stamped the sentiment using black ink and placed a few rhinestones to embellish my card..

Celebrate & Enjoy Your Special Day – Two Cards

Today I’m sharing  two cards…and I think the only common thing with these two is that I have used coloured cardstock to create the card base for them…this year I really want to focus on getting my heat embossing a bit better(so I’m not scared of ruining my cards anymore)….and also want to practice using alphabet stamps to create my own messages on cards…
Me And My Daily Papercraft Blog - Handmade Card by PriCreated
For my first card base I chose a bright red card base and a white top layer….on the top layer,I used a stencil and some distress inks to print the dotted background – making sure I leave enough blank space at the bottom for the sentiment…
I stamped the large ‘celebrate’ word using Versamark ink and Avery Elle Big Greetings stamp set and heat embossed that using gold embossing powder…I also stamped a lot of stars and heat embossed them too…
Finally I added a border at the base of the top layer using red ink and a few gold star sequins to finish the card..

For my second card I chose and aqua green coloured card base and a watercolour paper top layer…I first stamped the large flower from Altenew Beautiful Day stamp set all around the edges of the cardstock and coloured them all in using Peerless watercolors….

I covered the center area with a greenish colour and stamped the sentiment using Mama Elephant Calli Letters alphabet stamps…I do need a lot more practice with these stamps….but they are one of the best ones I’ve used yet…

I couldn’t decide how to embellish this card so I just used a metallic silver marker and added a few dots near the flowers..

Flowery Hello Card

Hello…How are you doing??So Christmas and New Years busy time is over…now you can find the time to start planning crafts again…or do you take a longer break..??
Has the new year been good for you so far..??made any resolutions…??I stopped making resolutions long back…life changes so quickly and so many unexpected things happen all the time that it’s almost impossible to keep up with any resolutions…but if you are a planner and are very good at making plans and sticking to them, then you should be very proud of yourself…
The card I’m sharing today has a plain white card base and top layer…I lightly sponged in a bit of distress ink first and then used a darker  shade and a stencil to print a pattern on it….then I randomly stamped  Altenew painted flowers using Ranger Java Bean dye ink…and finally I splattered a bit of orange and green watercolours for effect and set it aside to dry…
On a separate piece of cardstock,I stamped the large flower and small leaf and flowers bunch from Altenew Beautiful Day stamp set and cut it out and placed them on the card…sine my background was so busy,I decided to not colour in the flower…
I have used yet another Altenew stamp set for the sentiment….it’s called Label Love and I have stamped using Ranger Cheese Puff dye ink,cut it out and placed it on the card…
Thank you for visiting my blog today…Have a great day ahead…!!

You Are Way Amazing

I don’t think I will ever tire of using Distress inks to create backgrounds for my cards…I love all the bright shades in this ink range and use them often…I still have to figure out what to use the lighter shades for…
Today’s card has a plain white card base and a white top layer as well…on the top layer I have used three shades of distress inks to create the background…once the background was ready,I used a stencil and white pigment ink to sponge on the dots…
I stamped little Tilda blowing bubbles on a separate piece of cardstock and coloured it in,cut it out and placed it on the card…I stamped part of the sentiment with black ink and the ‘amazing’ word has been die cut from white cardstock…
I used clear sequins to embellish the card…the best part was that the clear sequins looked like bubbles that Tilda was blowing from her bubble blower…
Thank you for taking the time and visiting my blog today…Have a wonderful day ahead…!!
