Spring Mice – 5 Cards

I love it when I am able to make a handful of cards using images from just one stamp set….today’s set is by Honey Bee Stamps called Sweet Spring Mice….

For the first card, I chose a kraft cardstock and used Taylored Expressions Chantilly stencil with white pigment ink to create the background on the front panel….I then added a white die cut scalloped rectangle to the card front and added the coloured in image….since the little mouse was holding a four leaf clover, I added a ‘good luck’ sentiment to this card..

My second card has a plain red front panel on which I have white heat embossed using the MFT English Brick Wall stencil so it looks like a pathway(kind of) for the little mouse to stand on…I added the coloured in image and added the sentiment which is from Honey Bee stamp called Inside Birthday..

For the next card, I simply die cut the background from white cardstock using Pretty Pink Posh Spring Frame die….I added the images and the sentiment banner and this card was ready…

For the fourth card, I used dye inks and Altenew Brick Rosette stencil to create the background on the front panel….I added the image to the middle of this panel and added the sentiment which I die cut using mama Elephant Make A Wish die set…

My final card was quick and simple to make….I used a yellow cardstock front panel and used the mask from MFT watercolor wash stencil to mask off the area in the center and blended same darker yellow inks…I added the coloured in die cut image in the middle, the sentiment and some embellishments and my card was ready..

I am thankful you chose to stop by my blog today….hope you have a wonderful, blessed and crafty day ahead..

Sweet Cherries Cards

I really like Hero Arts colour layering stamp sets which are very easy to layer(mostly two layers) and give such amazing results….for today’s cards I have use the Colour Layering Cherries Stamp and Die set..

For my first card I used an old and probably discontinued Hero Arts red rubber background Waves stamp and stamped it with a light orange ink to cover the front panel…I then added the three cherries stamped image and heat embossed the sentiment..

For my second card, I used a light blue front panel on which I sponged some dark blue ink on the edges…I then adhered the stamped and die cut cherry images randomly on the front panel and then stamped and heat embossed the sentiment…I have added some blue rhinestones to embellish the card…

Thank you for your time today and I hope you liked the cards I shared…have a happy and blessed day ahead…

Vintage Cars Birthday Card – Take 2

When I made a vintage cars stamped card earlier using Honey Bee Stamps You’re A Classic stamp set, I wanted to try and make it again with bolder colours and a lot more dimension….and this is the result…

This time I used a light grey front panel for my card front….I die cut the stamped car images, added another die cut piece underneath and then adhered them to the front panel…

I stamped and white heat embossed the sentiments from Mama Elephant Easy Sentiments set on black cardstock and die cut them with the coordinating die set and then added them to the card front…I also added some white rhinestones to embellish my card..

As you can see, this is not a new card design but an old card design that I improved…and I can say now that it’s a good, tried and tested way to get back to creating when you are not getting inspired to do much..

I’m happy you could spend a bit of time to take a look at my card today…hope you will have a happy and creative day ahead!!

Thinking Of You – 2 Cards

Getting back into making cards, I realised I was getting frustrated trying out new techniques and not getting the expected results…after a few tries, I went back to my favorite techniques and voila – I was on a roll…

I’m sharing two cards with the same message and theme today…both cards are made using floral layering stencils and coordinating dies…the first card is made using Pinkfresh Studio Citrus Bloom stamp die and coordinating layering stencils set..and my second card is made using Altenew Folk Florals stencils, stamp and die set…

Once I had all the stencilled elements die cut, I adhered them to the front panels and added the sentiment labels…and finally, I embellished my cards with essentials jewels…

So happy you stopped by my blog today…happy papercrafting!!

Anniversary Card

It’s been a while since I wrote an actual post for my blog…and today seems to be the day I start again….here’s hoping I can keep it up..

I made this Anniversary card using the Adore You stamp and die set by Altenew…I first heat embossed the flowers and leaves and used watercolor brush markers to colour them in….

I chose a light green cardstock front panel and blended some darker green inks on the edges….I splattered some gold perfect pearls on the front panel and adhered all the die cut flowers and leaves on it…

I then gold heat embossed the sentiment on a black cardstock strip and added it on top of the flowers…and finally I added some gold Nuvo Drops to embellish my card.

Thank you for checking my blog post today…hope you will have a happy and blessed day ahead!!

Scootin’ By To Say Happy Birthday

Every time school holidays or term breaks come around, I see a whole lot of kids having fun riding on their scooters…the images in the Lawn Fawn Scootin’ By stamp set caught my eye and I wanted to create a scene which featured the little cuties on their scooters..

I started by creating a cloudy sky on all the front panels with Distress Inks and MFT Cloud Mini Edge stencil…

For the first card, I have used the Mama Elephant Scene Builder stamp and die set to create the houses in the background and added some Distress Inks to create the ground…I then added the coloured in and die cut fox and the mouse images on a scooter each and adhered them to the card front…the sentiment is from Lawn Fawn Happy Happy Happy stamp and die set…

The second card is a bit simple…I stamped the sentiment directly onto the front panel and added a hill border edge at the base to place the scooter riding mouse on..

For my third card, I have used the city background as well and added the little rabbit riding the scooter…this one has a helmet too..I die cut the sentiment using some pink glitter cardstock with Lawn Cuts Scripty Happy + Birthday dies..

I did not add any embellishments to these cards but did apply some Nuvo glaze on some elements for a bit of shine…

Thanks for your visit today…hope you will have a happy and crafty day ahead..

Slimline Cupcake Birthday Cards

Todaay I’m sharing two slimline birthday cards that I have made using Avery Elle Layered Cupcake stamp set…the printed acetate sheet, that the stamps cling to while in packaging, clearly identifies the various layers and makes it quite easy to figure our which layer to stamp next..

For both the cards, I have die cut the front panels from white and kraft cardstock using a die from the Mama Elephant Slim Window Dressing die set…I have used oxide inks to sponge the edges of these panels..

On a separate piece of white cardstock, I stamped the cupcake and icing images…the MISTI tool came in very handy as I was able to stamp the same images multiple times in various colours…I have used Altenew crisp dye inks for stamping..

After die cutting the stamped images, I adhered them to the top panel and added the sentiments…the sentiment on the first card is from Avery Elle – Simple Sentiments set and for the second card I used the sentiment from Altenew Sentiment Strips stamp set…and finally to embellish the cards, I added some rhinestones..

I hope you enjoyed viewing my cards today…thanks so much for stopping by my blog…

Baby Cards

I just love these adorable images in the Baby Clothes Line stamp set from Your Next Stamp…the little onesies are just too cute…don’t you think?

On the front panel, I first used the MFT cloud edges stencil and Distress Inks to create a cloudy sky background and then die cut a base from green cardstock using MFT stitched scallop basic edge die and adhered it to the bottom of the panel…

I coloured in and die cut the stamped images and then added them to the card front…the congrats word used in the sentient is from Altenew script words die set..

Thanks for taking the time to visit my blog…hope you will have a fun and crafty day ahead..
